Webcast Training: CRM Query Builder

All students will attend the 2 large-group morning sessions. Then they will be split into small work groups, and will be scheduled for one follow-up workshop practice to follow the morning class.

All sessions will be recorded for students to review afterward. Each breakout session will be made available to all students so they can learn from one another. Each student will end class with one or more of their customized queries completed and ready to use. Students should submit their custom-query requests to WorkWise 1 week before class. Pricing is $250/person, minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 attendees.

Day One: 8:30-9:30 am: Query Builder Intro 1: Webex with Questions
Entire class, min 4, max 8

• A. Queries vs. reports
• B. Assigning users to queries
• C. Standard queries vs. marketing queries
• D. Select Query window
• E. Search Query window
• F. Query builder window and tabs

9:45 – 2:30 pm: Query Builder Practice 1: Webex Workshops
(one 45 min break-out sessions in groups of 2-3)

• A. Build a Simple Query and Add it to Select Search Menu
• B. Develop a simple query and attach a Navigation tree
• C. Add the query to the Select Search menu

• A. Format your query – add drop down list, calendar date selection, etc.
• B. Build a TCM query- ex: orders by Sales rep with drop-down list and date selection
• C. Port your query from test system to live system

9:45 – 2:30 pm: Query Builder Practice 2: Webex Workshops
(one 45 min break-out sessions in groups of 2-3)

• A.Create your own custom query with coaching
• B. Attach your new query to the Navigation tree
• C. Add your new query to the Quick Find group
• D. Develop a Contact query and Navigation tree for the group
