Introduction to SQL Programming with SQL Server Management Studio

The introduction of SQL as the foundation of TCM opens up a whole new realm of possibilities. In this session, we will explore the basics of SQL 2005 through the eyes of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Using the TCM SQL database, we will demonstrate how to access data, create new queries, relate tables together and show you new ways to look at the information about your business. This is geared for the new user and no prior knowledge of SQL is required.

Introduction to Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

This valuable tool comes free with Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Similar to Crystal Reports, but the interface is quite different. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) will start popping in places of TCM as part of the standard functionality in upcoming releases. We will explore what it takes to leverage this tool for your business, and tailor it to you specific business needs.

Now your administrator has the ability to adjust the field placement and appearance of the TCM applications written in .net – this includes many new maintenance and query screens, and, of course, the Role Based Workbenches.
